Join Om Nom in Cut the Rope 2, the ultimate physics-based puzzle! Cut strings, collect stars, and feed the hungry monster. Play now to test your logic skills!
Following the resounding success of its first installment, Cut the Rope, Cut the Rope 2 expands the experience by taking the candy-loving Om Nom out of his small cardboard box and into a much more dynamic adventure. In the second part, the appearance of the Nommies – companions with unique skills such as flying, bridging, or cloning – adds more depth and variety to the physics-based puzzles.
In part 1, Om Nom was "fixed." In Cut the Rope 2, he becomes part of the puzzle itself. He can be pushed down a slope, lifted into the air by Roto, or tossed high into the air by Toss. In many levels, you have to guide Om Nom to the candy instead of just doing the opposite.
You have to calculate the order: Cut the ropes first or activate the Nommies' skills first? In many cases, the order of actions is what determines success or failure. For example, you have to use Lick to stick out your tongue as a bridge to catch the candy, then cut the rope so the candy falls to the correct position.
When playing this game on the Space Waves system, you'll notice incredibly smooth response times, making the following controls more precise than ever:
Conquering 3 stars in the early levels is easy, but later on, you will need the following strategies:
The biggest difference in Cut the Rope 2 is the appearance of the Nommies - seven companions with unique skills to help Om Nom solve puzzles. Additionally, Om Nom is no longer confined to one place but can move, roll, or fly, making the gameplay feel more dynamic and interactive.
Each character in Cut the Rope 2 is a "key" to solving puzzles:
The core strategy is observation and trial-and-error. You should carefully observe the trajectory of the falling candy, calculate the inertia, and especially understand the physics of the Nommies. Sometimes, even a slight change in timing can determine whether you get the final star or not.
