Is the Tall Pines map in Dynamons 7 giving you a hard time? Check out this breakdown to beat Captain Robin and master the new elemental skill cards.
Right at the beginning of your journey, Professor Jovani will give you 3 Dynamon starting monster choices. Choosing the right monster will determine your grinding speed in the early game.
Tall Pines is the largest and most challenging story map area in Dynamons 7. To navigate this area without losing your team, follow this route:
Phase 1: Prepare Your Team (Level 15+)
Before entering Tall Pines, ensure your team of 3 main monsters is at least Level 15. The wild monsters here are very aggressive, and Captains will constantly use Skill Cards to buff their armor.
Phase 2: Explore the Bonus Caves
On your way through Tall Pines, don't just follow a straight path. Pay attention to the small turns that lead to Bonus Caves. Here you will find:
Treasure chests containing super-powerful Discon (High-success rate Beast Catching Balls).
Rare skill cards that increase critical damage.
Stage 3: Defeating Boss Captain Robin
At the end of the Tall Pines map, you must face Captain Robin – who possesses extremely powerful Electric and Dark-type Dynamons.
Strategic tip: Use Ground or Grass-type Dynamons to counter Robin's Electric type. Absolutely do not deploy Dynamons with low health because Robin has a terrifying burst damage potential.
Crocynos is one of the strongest and most sought-after Grass/Ground-type Dynamons in game 7 thanks to its cool appearance and wide-area stun abilities. However, its spawn rate is extremely low.
To catch Crocynos, follow these steps precisely:
Step 1: Find the right location: Crocynos doesn't appear at the beginning of the game. You can only find it in the deepest part of the Tall Pines map (near the ancient shrine after defeating Captain Robin).
Step 2: Accumulate Golden Discons: Don't waste regular capture balls. Stock up on at least 3-5 Golden Discons or Cyber Discons purchased from the shop or found in hidden caves to ensure a higher capture rate.
Step 3: Safe "Drain" strategy: When facing Crocynos, absolutely avoid using abilities with excessive damage (such as critical hits from Fire-type abilities) as you might accidentally knock it out before you can throw a ball. Use abilities that inflict effects like Poison or Paralyze to reduce its health bar to red.
Step 4: Capture: When Crocynos's health is below 15% and he's afflicted with a debuff, throw Golden Discon.
Congratulations! You now possess one of the strongest "carry monsters" in Dynamons 7, ready to enter the ultimate Arena.
