Happy Glass

1 votes 3.5/5

Happy Glass is an incredibly creative and engaging physics ;puzzle game that lets players freely draw paths to fill a sad glass and make it smile again. Although the gameplay is simple, achieving 3 stars in all levels requires logical thinking and dexterity.

1. Basic Gameplay Rules & 3-Star Scoring Mechanism

The main goal in Happy Glass is to draw freehand lines on the screen to create paths, supports, or barriers to guide water into the glass.

  • 3-Star Mechanism: Each level has an ink gauge. The shorter the lines and the less ink you use, the higher the number of stars you receive.
  • Winning Condition: The glass must accumulate the required amount of water and remain stable until the countdown timer ends.

2. Secrets to Optimal Drawing for Consistent 3-Star Ratings

Similar to calculating the angle for cutting the rope in Cut the Rope to earn 3 stars, Happy Glass also requires precise geometric calculations to maximize ink savings:

Create a support point using a "Hook"

One thing to note is that you shouldn't draw a long straight line connecting point A to point B. Instead, draw a short line with a hook-shaped end that attaches to fixed blocks on the screen. The hook helps keep the line from falling due to gravity while using very little ink.

Using Tripod Shapes

To keep a glass of water from tipping over when water is flowing strongly, draw a small right angle or triangle at the base of the glass to stabilize its position.

Taking Advantage of Gravity in Your Drawings

In many levels, you can draw a closed block high above so that it falls, pushes, or levers other objects as desired without drawing long paths.

3. How to Deal with Common Obstacles

As you progress to higher levels, the game will present more complex obstacles. Here are strategies to overcome each type:

  • Hot Surfaces: Causes water to evaporate instantly. Solution: Draw a high, arched "bridge" to keep the water suspended in mid-air, avoiding contact with the hot surface.
  • No-Draw Zones: Areas where you cannot place your pen. Solution: Draw a line starting from the permitted area, but extend the edge or create momentum so the line extends into the forbidden zone.
  • Multiple Glasses: Solution: Prioritize water distribution. Draw an inverted V-shaped "funnel" to evenly divide the water flow to both sides.
  • Gears: Draw barricades that hook onto the wall to hinder their movement before releasing the water.

4. Customization & In-Game Rewards

After each level or when spinning the Lucky Wheel, you will receive gold coins. These coins can be used to unlock decorative items to enhance your gaming experience:

  • Cup Styles: Cute designs like cat faces, piglets, etc.
  • Water Colors: Rainbow water, red water, blue water, etc.
  • Pen Types: Unique brush stroke effects.

If you encounter a level that is too difficult, you can use the Hint feature by watching ads or using coins to preview the perfect 3-star brush strokes.
