When it's your turn to shoot, the goal is to get the ball into the opponent's net. The shooting process takes place in the following steps:
You will see an arrow or icon moving back and forth on the screen, indicating the direction of the shot. When the arrow is where you want the ball to go (high angle, low angle, middle of the goal), you will press and hold the mouse (on PC) or touch and hold the screen (on mobile). A power bar will appear and move up and down. This is where you adjust the power of your shot. When the power bar reaches the level you want (usually green or yellow for optimal shooting power), you will release the mouse/finger.
When your opponent is about to shoot, you will see an indicator or a light appear on the goal, indicating the direction your opponent is aiming. You need to quickly analyze and predict where the ball will go based on this indicator. The time to react is very short. If you are late, the ball will go into the net. Try to hit the exact spot where the ball will go so that the goalkeeper can successfully block it. Over time, you can learn the shooting "habits" of the AI or other players (if there is a 2-player mode), which will help you predict better.
In Tier Mode, the game is designed for players to gradually improve their skills and get used to the challenges of the game. Tier Mode is divided into 6 different levels, from Tier 1 (easiest) to Tier 6 (hardest).
As you progress to higher Tiers, the AI opponents will become stronger, and the AI will be much faster and smarter. Sometimes it is even rated as playing better than real people. This will make it harder for players to beat. They will tend to predict your shot direction better and shoot more dangerously. The main goal in Tier Mode is to win matches, collect trophies to unlock higher levels, and eventually conquer Tier 6.
To access World Cup mode, you cannot play from the beginning. You need to complete a certain number of matches (usually 3) in Tier Mode before the World Cup is unlocked. This ensures that you have a basic level of skill to be able to compete.
World Cup mode simulates a real cup tournament, where you will face other teams in the knockout stages (e.g. round of 16, quarter-finals, semi-finals, finals). The AI opponents in World Cup mode are usually at a high difficulty level, equivalent to or even more difficult than the highest Tiers in Tier Mode. They will have dangerous shots, excellent blocking abilities, and the ability to adapt to your playing style.
World Cup mode brings the atmosphere of major tournaments with more magnificently designed stadiums, making it feel like you are actually participating in the World Cup. The goal in this mode is to lead your team through all the rounds to win the prestigious World Cup. You can choose your favorite team from over 250 available teams to represent and compete.
