Don't worry! This Raft Wars 2 walkthrough will guide you through detailed aiming strategies, weapon management, and tips to overcome all 13 levels of this legendary turn-based shooter game from the Simon brothers.

Overview of Raft Wars 2

  • Genre: Artillery shooter, Physics-based puzzle.
  • Developer: Martijn Kunst / BigDino.
  • Storyline: After returning from vacation, the Simon brothers discover a magnificent water park (Aqua-Land) has been built over the place where they hid their treasure of millions of dollars worth of gold. Your mission is to accompany the two brothers, using tennis ball guns, grenades, and rockets to destroy the park, drive out the security guards, and reclaim the treasure!

5 Essential Gameplay Tips for Achieving 3 Stars

Before diving into the details of each level, remember these crucial rules to save cash and optimize damage:

"Test Shot" Strategy: Always use tennis balls (free, unlimited weapon) on your first shot to gauge the angle and power. Once you've found the perfect trajectory to hit the enemy's head, switch to heavier weapons like grenades or rockets on subsequent turns.

Utilize the Environment: Don't just shoot directly at enemies. Shoot at obstacles, pool edges, or suspended objects to trigger physical effects, pushing enemies into the water.

Tip to Avoid Losing Weapons When Losing: If you accidentally miss an expensive rocket, immediately press the Restart button before the level ends. The system will return all weapons you consumed in that level.

Upgrade Priority Order:

  • Priority 1: Raft & Armor - Helps you survive enemy group fire at higher levels.
  • Priority 2: Rocket & Grenade - Buy in moderation.
  • Priority 3: Multiball - Only buy in levels with large groups of enemies.

Guide to Completing 13 Levels

Levels 1 to 4: Starting at Aqua-Land

Enemies: Ticket Checkers, Security Guards, and Lifeguards.

Tactical Strategy: These levels are fairly easy to help you get used to the shooting power.

  • Levels 1 & 2: The shooting angle is mainly low (25-35 degrees). Aim directly at the head or legs of the security guards to push them backward and into the water.
  • Levels 3 & 4: Enemies start standing on higher levels. Increase the shooting angle to around 45-55 degrees. You don't need to buy large weapons at this stage; save your money.

Stages 5 to 8: Confronting the Mascot and the Whalers

Enemies: The Shrimp Mascot and Whale Hunters.

Tactical Strategy: Enemies in these stages have higher health and throw dangerous explosives.

  • Levels 5 & 6: Use Grenades. Drop a grenade directly under the Shrimp Mascot's feet to knock it off its base.
  • Levels 7 & 8: Glass barriers appear. Use a powerful Tennis Ball shot to shatter the glass first, then use a second shot to take down enemies behind it.

Levels 9 to 12: High-Tech Warfare

Enemies: Drones, security robots, and heavy troops.

Tactics: These are the levels that cost you the most health.

  • Levels 9 & 10: Drones move constantly in the air and fire very painful lasers. Buy Rockets. Rockets have a straight trajectory and extremely high speed, making it easy to shoot down Drones before they can fire.
  • Levels 11 & 12: Enemies are positioned far away and obscured by moving obstacles. This is where the Multiball weapon comes in handy. Fire a cluster of balls into the air so they disintegrate and randomly hit multiple enemies at once.

Stage 13: The Final Battle

Enemy: The final boss (the water park director) controlling a giant mechanical machine with the help of a fleet of advanced drones.

Winning Strategy:

  • Round 1: Immediately use rockets to shoot down the two drones flying on either side to reduce damage taken each turn.
  • Rounds 2 & 3: Aim for the joints or energy tanks of the final boss's machine.
  • Decisive Round: When the boss's health is low, detonate all remaining grenades and rockets. Make sure your raft is upgraded to the highest level (Great Raft) before entering this stage to avoid an unexpected death.
