Gather Resources

Taming.io is a game that combines survival, construction, and pet taming. Players must collect resources, build bases, and tame magical beasts to fight alongside them. When starting the game, players will need to choose a character and will be given a basic pet. This pet will be the first companion to help you in the first steps to go further. You need to use tools such as hammers, axes, and picks to mine resources scattered on the map:

Collect wood from trees to build basic structures and craft items.
Collect stones from quarries to build more solid structures and craft tools.
Gold can be found in chests, collected from gold ores, or automatically generated from windmills (after you build them). Use the gold you earn to upgrade and craft many other valuable high-end items.
Collected from fruits and, meat of defeated wild animals. Food restores energy for characters and pets.
As you collect resources and perform other activities, you will gain experience and "age" (level up). Each time you level up, you will unlock new crafting recipes, stronger weapons, and sometimes other useful rewards.

Building a Base

In addition to finding ways to attack opponents, defense is also an extremely important way for you to survive longer. You need to build walls, doors, and watchtowers to protect yourself and your resources from wild creatures and especially other players. In addition to defense, you can build structures with support functions:

One of the most important structures automatically generates gold over time, helping you have a stable source of finance to develop.
Other structures can include storage, metallurgy, etc. (depending on game updates and features).
Choosing a location to build a base is also extremely important, so you need to choose areas with rich resources, easy to defend, and difficult to be attacked by surprise.

Pet Development

You can tame wild animals by approaching them carefully (usually when they are asleep or not attacking). If the heart on the head of a wild animal breaks, it means you have failed to tame it, and it will attack you. There are many types of pets for players to choose from, each pet will have different abilities, such as Fire, Plant, Water, Rock, Stun, Damage, Knockback, and Healing.
