Shape Rush is a browser-based rhythm game that challenges your reflexes across six levels. Jump. Time your moves. Avoid obstacles.

Shape Rush is an action game with a single goal: guide your square character to the finish line. Your character automatically slides forward at high speed. Your task is to time your actions perfectly and help the character jump over every obstacle. Tune in to the rhythm to react quickly and accurately.

Levels and Difficulty in Shape Rush

Shape Rush currently features six levels with increasing difficulty. Like Geometry Dash, this rhythm-based action game pairs each level with its own unique soundtrack. To beat the challenges, players often memorize the necessary actions based on the musical beat.

Level 1 - Dream Dash: The first and easiest level; there are few obstacles, and the square moves at a relatively slow pace.

Level 2 - Back On Track 2.0 and Level 3 - Dry Out 2.0: Normal difficulty. Higher speeds and more obstacles. These levels introduce pads that launch the square higher and further.

Level 4 - Base After Base 2.0: High difficulty. A mix of obstacles requires precise, split-second reactions to avoid hazards on the ground and in the air.

Level 5 - Reapers and Level 6 - Club Madness: The two hardest levels in Shape Rush. Extremely high speeds.

How to Survive in Shape Rush

  • Enable Start Delay: The Start Delay mode gives you an extra three seconds to prepare before the square begins its automatic forward movement. Staying calm and focused is crucial when playing Shape Rush or similar fast-paced rhythm action games.
  • Time your moves right: Jump when the square gets very close to an obstacle. Jumping too early or too late will cause you to crash into it.
  • Watch the progress bar: The progress bar shows what percentage of the journey you have completed.
  • Stay calm and composed: To clear a series of obstacles, keep yourself relaxed and steady. Restart the level to get a feel for the game's rhythm and memorize the necessary moves.
  • Start with easier levels: Play levels 1, 2, and 3 to grasp the gameplay and master the controls. Mastering these levels helps sharpen your reflexes before tackling higher-speed challenges.
