Objective in Zuma Deluxe

The main objective in Zuma Deluxe is to stop the chain of colored balls from reaching the golden skull at the end of the track.

If any ball falls into the skull hole, you lose one life.

To complete a level, you must fill the Zuma Bar which is the yellow progress bar at the top of the screen by destroying balls. Once the bar is full, no new balls will appear and you only need to clear the remaining balls on the path.

How to Play Zuma Deluxe

Match-3 Shooting Mechanic

You shoot colored balls from the frog idol into the moving chain. When three or more balls of the same color touch each other, they explode and disappear.

This is the core gameplay mechanic of Zuma Deluxe.

Snap Back Mechanic

The Snap Back mechanic is one of the most important skills to master in Zuma Deluxe.

When you destroy a group of balls and create two ends of the chain with the same color, the chain will automatically snap back and reconnect.

If this reconnection creates another group of three or more matching balls, a combo chain reaction is triggered, earning a large number of points.

Power-Up Balls

Special symbols may appear on certain balls. Destroying these balls activates powerful effects:

• Bomb: Explodes all nearby balls within a small radius.
• Back: Pushes the entire ball chain backward away from the skull.
• Pause: Stops the movement of the ball chain for a few seconds.
• Accuracy: Displays an aiming guide beam that helps you shoot more precisely and quickly.

Zuma Deluxe Controls

Zuma Deluxe features very simple and intuitive controls, mainly using the mouse.

Mouse Controls

• Move Mouse: Rotate the frog idol 360 degrees to aim.
• Left Click: Shoot the current ball.
• Right Click: Swap the current ball with the reserve ball on the frog’s back.
• Tip: Always watch the reserve ball color to plan your shots more effectively.

Keyboard Controls

• Spacebar: Swap balls same as right click.
• P or Esc: Pause the game.
